We received another four to six inches inland from Lake Superior on Feb. 20-21. We again packed the Yukon and Corridor as far south as the Dixie Spur Trail (roughly six miles north of Two Harbors). We now have a good base to the trail, and the weather folks are predicting another storm coming late this weekend, keep your fingers crossed, and keep doing your snow dances! The riding has been good (~18" base, with another 4" fresh!) in the Isabella area, and farther up the shore. I finally had the opportunity to check it out last weekend. Be aware that this barely covers the rocks, stumps and other obstacles that are well covered in a normal snow season. Be cautious, but have fun!
